6 months, 3 weeks and one day later...

6 months, 3 weeks and one day later, someone took pity on the blog and posted on it again. That person was the incredible, techno whizz, ruler of the universe, smartest person in the world, Moira. Rah.

It's the end of Term 3, and an update is perhaps necessary. 10 to the 100th to 1 no-one will notice, so why not? This is what has happened, that I remember:

Term 1: The biggest event was camp. After half a year the details are somewhat hazy, but I sort-of remember the big events, and Casey waking us up at 6am (or something like that). That was the day of our 6/7/8/9/10 hour walk. But we've forgiven him, don't worry.

Term 2: Science Fair and "His Story, Her Story, Our Stories" were the big themes of Term 2. The former was, understandabley, much longer and far bigger, but the latter was also important. It culminated in a presentation on the last Monday (I think) of term.

Term 3: I remember this one a lot better, I wonder why. Production practice has started, winter sports have finished and badges received, Pubertal Change has been stuffed into our brains. Writing has moved on to explanations and our topic is the body. But those are, despite being the bulk of our work, sidewhows. The main event was our Inquiry. And it was a biggie.
Organise and eventuate a food drive. Plus make 20 recipe books and two $100 weekly food budgets. But we manage it. We all managed it. And Miss Downie successfully avoided doing much work on it. Go us!
